Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
Genorocity ("we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the "Application"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, providing additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted, except where applicable law requires affirmative consent to material changes.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including any in-app virtual items, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Data
Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when participating in activities related to the Application, such as chat, posting messages in comment sections or forums, liking posts, sending feedback, and responding to surveys. If you choose to share data about yourself via your profile, online chat, or other interactive areas of the Application, please be advised that this data may be visible to other users and/or the public, depending on your settings.
Sensitive Personal Information
Where applicable under laws such as the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") and other state privacy laws, we may collect "sensitive personal information," which can include precise geolocation, account login credentials, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or contents of certain messages. We collect and use sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Application's services, and we do not use or disclose it for purposes that require opt-in consent under applicable law without first obtaining that consent. You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information where applicable (see Section 7, "Your Privacy Rights").
Financial Data
Limited financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., the last four digits of a payment card, card brand, and expiration date), that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services through the Application. We do not store full payment card numbers. All payment transactions are processed by a PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment processor, and financial information is stored by that processor, not by us. You should review the privacy policy of our payment processor for more information.
Data from Social Networks
If you connect your account to a social network (such as Apple's Game Center, Facebook, Google, Instagram, Pinterest, or X/Twitter), we may collect user information from that platform, including your name, username, location, gender, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for your contacts. This may also include contact information for anyone you invite to use or join the Application. Our collection and use of this information is also governed by the relevant social network's privacy policy and any permissions you grant at the time of connection.
Geolocation Information
We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide location-based services. Where required by law, we will obtain your affirmative consent before collecting precise geolocation data. You may withdraw this access at any time through your device's settings.
Mobile Device Access
We may request access or permission to certain features of your mobile device, including Bluetooth, calendar, camera, contacts, microphone, reminders, sensors, SMS messages, connected social media accounts, and storage. You may change these permissions at any time in your device's settings.
Mobile Device Data
Device information such as your mobile device ID, advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), model, manufacturer, operating system version, phone number, country, general location, and other data you choose to provide.
Push Notifications
We may send push notifications regarding your account or the Application. You may opt out of these notifications in your device settings at any time.
Third-Party Data
Information from third parties, such as personal information from your network or friends, where you connect your account to a third-party service and grant the Application permission to access that information.
Data from Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys
Personal and other information you may provide when entering contests or giveaways, or responding to surveys.
Information Collected Automatically (Cookies and Similar Technologies)
See Section 5, "Tracking Technologies," below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, maintain, and administer your account
- Process payments, refunds, and other transactions
- Enable user-to-user communications and interactive features
- Send service-related communications (account updates, order confirmations)
- Send marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional offers, where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent
- Personalize your experience and improve the Application
- Compile aggregated or de-identified statistical data for internal analysis or sharing with third parties
- Administer sweepstakes, promotions, and contests
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activity
- Resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and respond to customer service requests
- Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from law enforcement, and enforce our Terms of Use
- Train and improve automated systems used to operate the Application, subject to the disclosures in Section 6 below
We do not use your personal information for purposes incompatible with those disclosed in this Policy without providing notice and, where required, obtaining your consent.
3. How We Disclose Your Information
We may share information we collect about you in the following circumstances:
By Law or to Protect Rights. If we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Genorocity, our users, or others, we may share your information as permitted or required by applicable law.
Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, hosting, data analytics, customer service, and email delivery. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections.
Business Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
Marketing Communications. With your consent, or where applicable law provides an opportunity to opt out, we may share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Interactions with Other Users. If you interact with other users (e.g., chatting, following, sending invitations), those users may see your name, profile photo, and related activity.
Public Postings. Content you post in public areas of the Application (comments, forum posts, etc.) may be viewed by other users and could be indexed or redistributed outside the Application.
Advertising Partners. We may share information with third-party advertising companies, subject to the choices described in Section 5 below and, where you have exercised an applicable opt-out or opt-out preference signal, consistent with those choices.
Affiliates. We may share information with our corporate affiliates, who will be required to honor this Privacy Policy with respect to that information.
Business Partners. We may share information with business partners to offer you co-branded products, services, or promotions, where permitted by law.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may engage in activities that some state laws (such as the CPRA) define broadly as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — for example, certain uses of advertising cookies. You have the right to opt out of these activities; see Section 7 below.
4. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, which may be higher — for example, 16 in some U.S. states or under the EU's GDPR depending on the member state). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 11.
5. Tracking Technologies
Cookies and Beacons
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Application, and to deliver and measure advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser or device settings; declining cookies may affect the availability and functionality of certain features. Web beacons generally cannot be declined directly but become ineffective when associated cookies are disabled.
Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Preference Signals
We recognize the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") and similar opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law, and will treat a detected GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for that browser or device.
Interest-Based Advertising
We may work with third-party advertising partners and ad networks that use cookies, SDKs, or similar technology to serve interest-based ads on and off the Application. You may opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool, the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out tool, or your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" / "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting.
Analytics
We may use third-party analytics providers to help us understand how users interact with the Application. These providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Application over time.
6. Automated Decision-Making and AI-Driven Features
If the Application uses automated processing — including profiling or AI-driven features — to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you (for example, eligibility determinations or personalized pricing), we will, where required by applicable law:
- Provide notice that such processing is occurring;
- Provide a description of the logic involved and the consequences of such processing; and
- Offer a mechanism to request human review, where applicable law provides that right.
We do not use sensitive personal information to train automated decision-making systems in ways prohibited by applicable law.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know/Access — request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold/shared about you.
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with legal obligations).
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing — opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — direct us to limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Application's services.
- Right to Data Portability — receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
- Right to Appeal — in jurisdictions that provide it, appeal a denial of a privacy rights request.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights, subject to each state's specific requirements and exemptions, by contacting us using the information in Section 11 or, where available, through an in-app privacy settings page.
Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing your personal data include your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Application.
We will verify your identity before fulfilling a rights request, using a method appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
8. International Data Transfers
If you access the Application from outside the country in which our servers are located, your information may be transferred internationally. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries not deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Application's services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose of processing. When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
10. Security of Your Information and Breach Notification
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against interception or misuse. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
11. Managing Your Information and Contacting Us
You may review, correct, or delete the information in your account, or exercise the rights described in Section 7, by:
- Logging into your account settings and updating your information directly;
- Submitting a request through [in-app privacy request mechanism, if available]; or
- Contacting us using the information below.
To opt out of marketing emails: update your communication preferences in your account settings, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly. Note that you may still receive transactional or service-related messages even after opting out of marketing communications.
